Business Fredericton North Inc. (BFN) is a not-for-profit organization led by a volunteer Board of Directors. Representing the Northside central business district of Fredericton’s Urban Core, which encompasses a 2.3-kilometer commercial strip BFN works directly with 210 member businesses and 95 commercial property owners.
All businesses located in the boundaries of the Business Improvement Area are members of BFN by being in the boundaries of the Main Street business area, the commercial property owners in the boundaries have levied themselves based on the assessed value of their property and that levy comes back to BFN to reinvest in the business area for the benefit of all businesses and the public. BFN also has numerous associate business members outside the boundaries of Main Street from Two Nations Crossing to Riverside Drive who fully participate in our association through a membership fee.
The key to BFN’s success over the past 36 years has been the support and unity that has been established within our Northside business community.
